"Kids these days have no respect! They think they can just walk in and own the place. These millennials are lazy and entitled.....What is up with these baby boomers? Why do they think they’re right all the time? They don’t value my contributions at all, just because I’m young.....Change? Why should I change? I’m perfectly fine. They should change......"

Sound familiar?

Communicating is difficult enough; communicating across generations can be downright impossible. Dr. Christopher Bell, Assistant Professor of Communication and Director of Graduate Studies in Communication at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs may be able to shed a little light on generational differences and provide a bit of advice for professionals, young and old alike, about how to improve communication in both directions.

Dr. Bell was recently selected as a speaker for the upcoming TEDx Colorado Springs event.

Presented by the Professional Development Committee and CTU.  Venue sponsor:  DoubleTree Hotel.
