Looking for a job, or perhaps looking to develop skills that will get you noticed as a candidate for promotion in your current job? According to a 2010 survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, good communication skills are ranked first among a job candidate's "must have" skills and qualities.

When we communicate we spend 45% of our time listening. Most people take listening for granted but it is not the same as hearing and should be thought of as a skill. We actually communicate more information using non-verbal signals, gestures, facial expression, and body language.

What better way to learn how to perfect these two important skills than through hands-on coaching from a performer who ha...s used these skills to convey messages on stage to audiences for the past 20 years?!

Speaker: Birgitta De Pree, Director and Founder of the Millibo Art Theater, received her MFA in performance from the National Theater Conservatory and has spent the last two decades working throughout Colorado as a performer, director and educator. In 2008, she and husband Jim Jackson won the PPAC award for Best Original Production (“Signature”) and she received the People’s Choice for ‘Best Actress” from the Gazette’s “Best of the Springs” in 2012 and “Best Actress” in 2013, 2014 and 2015
