From civic engagement nerds to dispassionate bystanders, the Colorado Springs Rising Professionals and Citizen's Project invite all members of the community to an event introducing you to candidates for local office.

Attendees will have time to hear from all County Commission and House District 17 candidates in a Candidate Forum, followed by an exciting new format designed to give you "Face Time with Candidates"!

What it is:

An interactive conversation with the candidates from the races that matter to you
Unscripted civil discourse guided by small groups of participants, moderated by neutral facilitators
An opportunity to move beyond canned statements

What it is not:

A debate between candidates
A platform for statements from voters (please ask questions
Highly structured
