We have different experiences that shape our identity. We are husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, employees, employers, etc. We are more than one identity. We have several. Not only do our experiences shape how we view ourselves, but how we view others.
Together let’s identify how our experiences shape our outlook on our lives in the workplace.

We are excited to have one of our own members, present on this amazing topic. Sloan Gonzales, for the past ten years, has been a trainer and program developer for various non-profits in the Colorado Springs area.
She has trained and spoken on areas covering professionalism, conflict management, school violence, diversity, public speaking, and much more. Sloan currently works as program Manager for Leadership Pikes Peak's young professional program Leadership Now and their Women's Community Leadership Initiative.
She also is an instructor for the Communication Department at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where she focuses on public speaking and workplace communication.
Sloan received her undergraduate in Sociology and an MA in Communication from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Sloan has a passion and love for Colorado Springs and she enjoys exploring our beautiful city with her husband, sweet little boy, and golden retriever.
